Nigger

Nigger, the name given to my people
Nigger, the word that separates us from them
Nigger, the title used to degrade and distinguish
Nigger, a title of great anguish.

A nigger is a slave, a nigger is worthless
And a nigger shouldn’t have a say
A nigger is good for nothing but hard labour,
And a nigger bitch is good for fucking
A nigger doesn’t deserve to live,
Unless the white man sees it fit.

A nigger was born to work,
And niggers were born to be controlled,
A nigger can’t complain of these things,
Because it’s the natural order,
Some say it’s the way things should be.

So after hearing these things can somebody tell me,
Why the hell WE refer to ourselves as niggers?
I’m a young black male and I’m goddamn proud,
Of what we came from to where we are now
You may want to be a nigger, but that choice is up to you
See I’m no slave, and I know my worth
So don’t fucking call me a nigger!
